Sex during the "fertile window"
Making love is what takes you there. But, when you do it once a day (or every other day) during the fertile window, it is sure to increase your odds of getting pregnant. The suggestion here is to have regular sex, not to overdo it. If you'll try to force yourself into such a schedule with hopes to get pregnant, you may invite unnecessary stress. Remember, the ideal number here is what makes you feel comfortable.
Maintain a healthy body weight
Your body weight and your BMI, both can have a significant impact on your chances of becoming pregnant.
According to the studies, being overweight and being underweight are not good for a healthy pregnancy.
An overweight woman can take twice as long to become pregnant as compared to a woman with a normal BMI.
And, an underweight woman can take 4 times as long to conceive.
Consume healthy foods
You don't really need to indulge in a fertility promoting diet, you can eat a variety of healthy foods that provide your body with all the essential nutrients such as calcium, protein, and iron and ultimately help to prepare your body for pregnancy.
Whole grains, dairy products, lean protein, and a variety of fruits and vegetables can prove to be helpful.
Reduce caffeine consumption. More than 500 mg of caffeine is linked with decreased fertility in women.

Quit smoking and drinking
You know it, and we all know it, smoking and drinking affect fertility in both men and women. Harmful chemicals found in cigarettes such as nicotine and carbon monoxide increases the loss rate of a woman's eggs.
Marijuana and other recreational drug use should also be avoided when you are trying to get pregnant.
Reduce strenuous workout
Workout before, during, and after pregnancy is fine. But, you need to know the right time and the right amount of exercise you need to force your body into. A woman's body can have higher demands to prepare for pregnancy and labor, but it doesn't necessarily mean that you need to lift all the weights in the gym and spend hours. According to doctors, a lot of menstrual disturbances have been noticed in women who exercise heavily.
Know when to ask for help
Getting pregnant may not be easy for every woman, Some women can take time due to the high or low body weight or pre-existing medical conditions. If you have been trying for a long and not getting the results you are expecting, it is advisable to consult your doctor as your doctor can suggest the right tests and find the actual reason behind the failure, and prescribe medicines, diet, and exercises to help you get there.
